ABOUT ME:
I have been designing and making jewelry for over 20 years. My design process involves working through the material, looking at biological and mechanical forms for inspiration to create contemporary work with traditional techniques. I find endless design possibilities through the repetition of form which creates patterns that complement the human body. Through the meditative processes of forming, forging, soldering, and finishing, complete engagement and focus is found in the intimate space of the jeweler’s bench.
I studied jewelry and metalsmithing at Parsons in NYC and Massart in Boston. I exhibit my work throughout the country, participating in craft shows and exhibiting in galleries.
I am currently the K-12 department chair for fine art in the Medfield MA Public Schools, where I have enjoyed teaching since 2003.
